Shiwan, subtle differences.

Greetings all. I know I have been on a bit of a Shiwan pottery discussion of late but I like them and they are many. These following photos are some more work for Mr David Johnston, they are more subtle restorations coinciding with the owners directions. Once again I hope you are enjoying these as much as I am.

The photo on the left is the before shot and you can see on his left wrist is a discolouration from ageing. It was a matte area that seems to have absorbed material over the years.

Right, the before photo showing some over glaze and some micro cracks around the thumb and index finger. The thumb had pieces missing which I had to remake.
